Complete GCSE Astronomy in one year

For learners who wish to do this, we offer the GCSE Astronomy accelerated. Essentially you are put into the same cohort as those in the second year.

We charge the same as we normally do for the full 2 year course because for us it is double the work to do in terms of assessing 2 observational tasks in a year as opposed to just the 1.

Further the candidate also gets access to the first year's resources as well.

The learner also has the opportunity to attend the live webinars where topics for both years are run on a rolling monthly basis. Because it is a separate venture extra costs are incurred for this.

Before enrolling for this option, the learner is reminded they will need to complete all 16 topics in a year (or less) and complete both observational tasks to submit before Easter the following summer. The learner will be sitting the next available exam.

In the event the learner wants to defer, the full payment for the second year will be required at whatever the fee is for that year.
