Due to popular demand, we are now producing bi-monthly GCSE Astronomy webinars. Because there are 16 topics to cover and only 12 months in the year we’re offering 2 a month.
These will generally be held on the final Thursdays of the month between 18:00 – 19:00 via Zoom.
Each webinar will be hosted by Alastair Leith and Dr Nigel Marshall and will last about 45 minutes . They will cover the topics as outlined below with the opportunity to ask questions after.
Learners retain access to the material for as long as they subscribe. OASA learners are NOT mandated to subscribe and they could just as easily complete the course without them but it is strongly advised that they do.
Webinars will be recorded and available to subscribers after (Q&A removed for safeguarding purposes).

All webinars are run via Zoom
It is possible to subscribe (via GoCardless) to view the first, second, or both years.
Those who subscribe later into the cycle may pay that months subscription fee via PayPal to view back blocks. You may only purchase individual blocks, not videos.
Although subscribers will finish paying in April, they may continue to view the material up until 1 week after the second GCSE Astronomy exam that year. Those who pay outright will be given lifelong access (for the duration of the course), there is no pro rata rate for this.
These webinars are run independently to our GCSE Astronomy program. Signing up to this does not grant access to those resources. There is also one flat rate regardless of whether the learner is signed up with OAS Academy or not.
Upon signing up via GoCardless you will be directed to a Google form, please complete that with the email you would like added to the portal and to receive notifications to.
You will then be emailed joining instructions.
Access to the resources is granted for as long as the subscription via GoCardless is maintained. If cancelled your access to the recorded videos will be cancelled and there will be a £10 admin free to reactivate.
Please note, all notifications regarding the webinars are emailed, they will arrive within two weeks of the webinar date. If you have not received it please check your spam folder. If still no email notification please email info@onlineastronomycourses.co.uk urgently.
