As you are aware, GCSE examinations that were due to take place this summer have been cancelled.

This means that you will be awarded a grade based on assessments by your tutor.

If you are intending to enter for the 2021 summer examination, please follow the following procedures.

1. By the end of January 2021: Please enter for the examination at your chosen Centre and inform your tutor of your:

Centre name,

Centre number,

candidate number.

2. Once your tutor receives this information, he will make arrangements to send you the 2019 and 2020 past-papers for you to sit. These papers must be sat supervised (parent or guardian) and timed (including any extra time allocated to you) and sent to your tutor (electronically by email attachment) for marking by:

June 2019 papers 1 and 2 by 31^st March 2021,

June 2020 papers 1 and 2 by 30^th April 2021.

3. Marks for any work that has been marked informally (such as scores in end-of-topic worksheets) should also be sent to your tutor by 30^th April 2021.

4. Your portfolio of observational skills should be sent to your tutor (electronically) by 30^th April 2021 at the latest.
