Peter Jenkins is a retired IT Manager and a qualified professional photographer,(British Institute of Professional Photographers – BIPP). Peter has a keen interest in astronomy and took up astrophotography some five years ago. Elected a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS) in 2017  

 All photographs featured on this page have been taken from my light polluted garden.

Peter has had his images published in BBC Sky at Night, Astronomy Now and Sky & Telescope Magazines. The Heart Nebula (below left) was NASA Astronomy picture of the day (APOD) on 27th August 2017
 Peter was also recently been shortlisted in the Royal Observatory’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year, 2017 and 2018. He has also written equipment reviews for BBC Sky at Night Magazine.
